Instructions
In a bowl, add chickpea flour, chat masala powder, ajwain, red chili powder, turmeric powder, sugar, and salt. Mix all the dry ingredients well.
Now add water a little at a time. Keep stirring as you add the water, to avoid any lumps.
Once the batter is smooth, add onion, tomato, capsicum, carrot, green chilies, garlic, and chopped coriander leaves. Mix well to make a nice spicy batter for coating.
Heat a non-stick pan with 1 or 2 tablespoons of cooking oil.
Take each slice of bread and spread 2 to 3 tablespoons of this spicy vegetable mixture. Place the batter side of the toast down.
Shallow fry the toast on low flame for 5 minutes.
Right before flipping the toast, spread the same amount of batter on the top of the bread slice. Now gently flip the toast and fry for 5 to 7 minutes.
Repeat the above step with all the slices.
Serve hot with tomato sauce or spicy mint chutney.
