Ingredients
100gramsOkra(Lady's finger)
1cup yogurt
1small onionfinely chopped
1green chilifinely chopped
½ cup coriander leavesfinely chopped
¼teaspoonred chili powder
¼ teaspoon cumin powder
¼ teaspoonblack pepper powder
¼teaspoonchat masala powder
2teaspoonlemon juice
¼teaspoonsaltor as per taste
Instructions
Wash the vegetable thoroughly and pat dry with help of a kitchen towel. Now remove the stem and chop it into thin slices.
Deep fry or shallow fry the lady's fingers.
Take yogurt and whisk it well along with spices like red chili powder, cumin powder, black pepper powder, and chat masala powder.
Now add more vegetables of your choice. In this recipe, I have added just chopped onion, coriander leaves, and green chilies.
Add fried bhindi to the spicy yogurt mixture just before serving.
Serve along with any main dish or biryani.
Notes
To retain the crunch from fried bhindi, add it to the yogurt just before serving.
