Aval Milk

Rooh Afza Aval Milk is a refreshing drink perfect for the summer heat. You can drink and eat as well made with mashed bananas, lots of nuts, rooh afza for extra flavor, and fresh chilled milk.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1 cup or less thin aval/beaten rice/poha
  • 1 medium-size ripe banana mashed
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar or less
  • 5 cashew nuts
  • 2 tablespoon Rooh Afza
  • 5 almonds
  • 1 tablespoon peanuts
  • 4 dates
  • Few pistachios
  • Pomegranate arils for garnish
  • 2 tablespoon ghee

Instructions

  • Heat 1 tablespoon ghee and fry all the chopped nuts until golden. Remove on a plate.
  • To the same pan, add more ghee and fry 1 cup aval or beaten rice. Fry the aval on medium flame until it turns crispy and golden. Turn off the flame and set aside.
  • In a bowl, mash a ripe banana along with sugar.
  • Take 2 tall glasses and add a layer of 1 tablespoon mashed banana each followed by toasted nuts, 2 tablespoons of toasted aval each.
  • Top it with rooh afza and pour 1 cup of chilled milk into each glass.
  • Garnish with more aval and fried nuts, dates, and pomegranate.
  • Serve immediately.
