Indian Lamb Soup

Indian Lamb Soup

Indian Lamb Soup is made with lamb bones and minimal spices. As the winter is just around the corner, this soup is just perfect for the cold days ahead.

Today I have a special guest on my blogging space, and it’s an honor to have Fareeha the person behind Fa’s Kitchen. She needs no introduction with a huge fan following on her Facebook and Youtube Channel where you can find the most practical and easy to make videos of Indian and Pakistani style curries and many other categories.

Apart from being a food blogger, she is a mother of 3 and exceptionally good at managing her time and her house chores. I truly admire her consistency in making recipe videos which is quite a time-consuming job. She has been a great support to me by helping me with expert advice on blogging-related issues or otherwise.

Here she is with a recipe which is supposed to be my all-time favorite too called the ‘Indian Lamb Soup’. This soup has always been my comfort food and also a healer during the season when people are down with flu. It gives warmth as well as energy to the body to fight against the disease.

I would like to thank Fareeha for being a guest in my space and for taking the time out to contribute this recipe. So let’s hear from the blogger and check out the recipe too.

Do not forget to check out my other Guest Recipes who have contributed some of the lovely recipes to my blogging space.

Indian Lamb Soup ~ Mutton Shorba

First of all, I would like to thank Shanaz profusely for having me over at her amazing blog. It would be an understatement if I say she has been a great support and a big motivation for me in this blogging journey. She is one of the very few blogging friends that have been there for me during the ups and downs of the blogging world.

It is a big honor for me that I can guest post for her today. She never fails to amaze me with her consistent, amazing and lip-smacking recipes.

I am Fareeha and I blog at Fa’s Kitchen.

The recipe I made for her today, is the Indian Lamb Soup made with lamb bones and minimal spices. As the winter is just around the corner, this soup is just perfect for the cold days ahead.

You can simply relish this hot soup with a dash of pepper powder or mix it with plain, steamed rice for the perfect meal. My Ammi would always feed us this lamb soup when we were down with cold or flu. The hot and soothing flavors in the soup would do wonders to the throat.

She never used the pressure cooker and always preferred cooking on low heat for a long time. I can still feel the flavors and aroma when I think about it.

We were so fond of this soup that we would insist our mom to make it every other week. We would simply relish it with plain hot rice with Shami Kabab as a side dish. Yes, that was pure bliss!!

I hope you would enjoy this recipe as much as we do. You can check Mutton Paya Soup as well.
