Guava is a tropical fruit found in many tropical and sub-tropical countries. They are rich in dietary fiber, vitamin c, and a moderate level of folic acid.
Guava Ginger & Lime Smoothie
Guava is blended to a smooth pulp, strained to get a smooth texture with added sweetness, a hint of ginger, and a slightly tangy flavor of lime making a refreshing and energizing drink.
Ingredients
- 1 ripe guava medium size
- 1 tablespoon ginger juice
- 2 teaspoon lime juice
- 2 teaspoon sugar or honey as needed
- ¼ tsp salt
Instructions
- Peel and chop the guava into small pieces.
- In a blender, blend together chopped guava, ginger juice, lime juice, sugar or honey and a pinch of salt to a smooth puree. Add enough water to get a consistency of a smoothie. Strain the juice to remove the seeds.
- Serve the smoothie either chilled in the refrigerator or by adding ice cubes.
Notes
Note: You can alter the quantity of ginger juice and lime juice according to your own preference.
