An easy appetizer or snack recipe where flattened bread slices are stuffed with cooked mince stuffing along with cheese and shallow fried until crispy and golden.
Mince & Cheese Bread Roll-Ups or Bread Kheema Roll is a perfect snack option for breakfast, lunchbox, or even with evening tea. I prefer to make these rolls, especially during Ramadan when I like to avoid deep-fried samosas and spring rolls.
There is no hard and fast rule regarding the stuffing that goes into the rolls. You can also stuff the bread slices with just cheese and pickled jalapenos if you are in no mood to make a time-consuming meat stuffing.

To prepare bread rollups:
- Cut out the edges of all the bread slices and grind the edges into breadcrumbs.
- Take a rolling pin (bhelan) and roll out all the slices as thin as possible.
- Place 1 tbsp of mince stuffing on a side of a bread slice, place some grated cheese and roll the slice tightly. Seal the edges with whisked egg.
- Repeat with all the bread slices.
- Dip each bread roll into beaten eggs and then roll into the breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil or butter in a flat pan and fry the bread rolls on low flame. Fry till you get a golden color on all sides.
