Chicken Pasta in Alfredo Sauce
Ingredients
- 200 grams boneless chicken breast
- 300 grams uncooked pasta Penne
- 2 cups cooking cream thin consistency at room temperature
- 3 cloves of garlic finely chopped
- 1 tsp black pepper powder
- ½ cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt to taste
- ½ milk if needed
- 2 tbsp butter + 1 tsp cooking oil
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to the instruction on the package.
- Chop the chicken into strips.
- Heat 2 tbsp butter and 1 tsp cooking oil and add 3 cloves of garlic finely chopped. Fry till it slightly changes color.
- Now add chopped chicken pieces along with salt and 1 tsp black pepper powder. Fry till the chicken pieces are fully cooked.
- Lower the heat and slowly add 2 cups of cooking cream and stir well, along with 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese, 1 tsp dried oregano and 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese.
- Check the seasoning and bring the sauce to a slow boil. Once it starts boiling, reduce the heat and cook for 2 more minutes.
- Add the cooked pasta, little at a time, just as much as needed for the sauce. Add pasta to the sauce just before serving.
- Serve Alfredo Pasta hot by sprinkling some more grated Parmesan cheese on top.
