Pahadi Grilled Chicken
Ingredients
- 500 grams boneless chicken cubed
- 1 cup mint chopped
- 1 cup fresh coriander leaves chopped
- 1 tablespoon green chili chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic chopped
- 1 teaspoon ginger chopped
- 1 tablespoon yogurt
- 2 tablespoon mustard oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- In a mixer combine all the ingredients and blend to a smooth paste without adding water. Marinate chicken pieces in the masala paste for about 3 to 4 hrs.
- Thread the chicken pieces onto skewers (I used wooden short ones) and grill in an oven or electric grill pan turning the sides every 5 min for even cooking.
